BIO SHETLAND (BC Garn)

A GOTS certified beautiful "Shetland type" wool for all lovers of multicolored knitwear and wonderful woolen sweaters, jackets, throws and accessories. The yarn is called "Shetland type" and not Shetland wool, as the yarn does not come from the Shetland Islands, as there are no GOTS certified farms here. However, BC GARN organic Shetland type looks exactly the same, has the same properties and is even slightly softer than conventional Shetland wool. BC GARN BIO SHETLAND comes in 70 colors and is a beautiful carding yarn with many beautiful melanges. The individual color has many nuances, which give the finished work a super delicious look. BIO SHETLAND is perfect for both children's and adult knitting, structured knitting, lace and fair-isle. BIO SHETLAND can also be used on the knitting machine and in the loom. You can wash your finished knitted products in this yarn on the wool washing programme. However, it is a good idea to test whether your washing machine washes gently enough by only washing your knitting sample to begin with, and of course you must remember to measure this beforehand!
