Work sweater from neck down in rib-pattern and with stripes in purl-rib in Line and Mandarin Petit. Work main color with double yarn (= 1 strand Line + 1 strand Mandarin Petit). Work pattern colors with 1 strand Mandarin Petit. Beg to work the back in rows (back and forth) with turning rows to shape slanting shoulders, cont until underarms. Knit up sts on each side of cast on row for the back for each side of front, and work sides separately. Work turning rows to shape slanting shoulders and inc for neckline, before joining the two sides to one front, and cont until same length as the back. Join back and front from underarms and cont in rnds until full length. Work sleeves and neckband.
